Stilla Privacy Policy Effective date: May 5, 2026
Stilla is a meditation app built to respect your privacy. This page explains what we do and don’t collect.
What we collect
On your device and your private iCloud. Your meditation history, favorite tracks, journal entries, and mood reflections are stored locally on your iPhone using Apple’s secure app storage. If you are signed into iCloud, they sync silently across your devices through your private iCloud account. Stilla does not have access to this data and cannot read it; only you can, on devices signed in with your Apple ID.
Subscription state. When you start a free trial or subscribe, Apple processes the purchase. We use RevenueCat to verify whether your subscription is active. RevenueCat receives an anonymized customer ID. No name, no email, no payment details. Their privacy policy is at https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy.
That’s it. We do not collect:
Your name, email, phone number, or address Your location Your contacts, photos, microphone, or camera Your browsing history or app usage analytics Any advertising identifiers
Apple Health (HealthKit)
If you grant Stilla permission, the app writes the duration of completed meditation sessions to Apple Health as Mindful Minutes. Stilla does not read any data from Apple Health, and our HealthKit read entitlement is empty.
HealthKit data written by Stilla is stored in your private Apple Health database on your device and, if you have iCloud enabled, in your private iCloud account. Stilla does not have access to this data, does not transmit it to any server, and does not share it with any third party.
You can review and revoke Stilla’s permission to write to Apple Health at any time in the iOS Settings app under Privacy and Security, then Health, then Stilla. You can also do this from the Health app under Sharing, then Apps and Services, then Stilla.
Third parties
Apple processes all payments. See https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/ RevenueCat handles subscription verification. See above. We do not work with advertising networks, analytics providers, or data brokers.
Children
Stilla is rated 9+ on the App Store and is suitable for all ages, but we do not knowingly collect any data about children. If you believe a child has provided information through Stilla, contact us and we’ll remove it.
Your rights
Because we don’t collect personal data, there’s nothing on our servers to delete. To clear your local data, delete the Stilla app from your device. To remove iCloud-synced data, sign into iCloud.com and delete Stilla’s data from your iCloud storage. To cancel your subscription, go to Settings, then Apple ID, then Subscriptions on your iPhone.
Changes
If we update this policy we’ll change the effective date above and post the new version here. Significant changes will be highlighted in the app.
